Wigchers Int. Transport is a family business through-and-through. We operate our own large fleet of 85 trucks and 250 trailers. Our range of expertise is wide and covers multiple disciplines. Think about solutions for the oil and gas industry, as well as the transport of raw materials such as asphalt and sand. To sum it up, we handle transport in the broadest sense of the word, with loads ranging from artworks to concrete slabs and from agricultural products to contaminated soil.

Our organization
‘Precise, flexible and reliable’ is how our customers describe us. Along with a team of around 100 employees, we provide effective, safe and sustainable transport.
But there is more to logistics than simply transporting your goods from A to B. We can also handle your scheduling, your organisation tasks and your administration. Tailor-made services and transport so that we can take the responsibility off your shoulders.
Safety
Creating a safe working environment is not enough. It is just one of the preconditions. Employees themselves must ensure that the workplace is safe. Our employees undergo regular training so that they can be aware of their own safety and the safety of others. In our sector, it is especially important to pay attention to this. To us, working safely is not a choice. It is simply something that we do.

Sustainability
Our fleet consists of Euro 5 and 6 trucks. With these vehicles, we reduce our CO2 and NOx emissions. The purchase of these trucks is in keeping with the philosophy of our company. Wigchers Int. Transport considers it important to invest in a clean environment. We invest in the improvement of our operations, keeping both humankind and the environment in mind. And this does not just apply to the present, it applies to the future too.
CO2-footprint
Wigchers Int. Transport keeps track of its CO2-footprint. This footprint demonstrates how much CO2 we emit and what we do to reduce our emissions.
Workshop and APK
Daily maintenance and APK testing take place at our own workshop in Schoonoord. If required, our skilled workshop employees can add tilt mechanisms or frameworks to your vehicle or our own vehicles. Together, we will find your ideal transport solution.
You can count on thorough maintenance and modern equipment. To us, quality, reliability and minimal environmental impact are very important. By handling our own maintenance and repairs, in transit if required, we make sure that our services provide such quality, reliability and eco-friendliness.
Branches
Our headquarters are located in Schoonoord (Drenthe), from where we organise your transport. We also use depots in Gieten, Hoogeveen, Emmen and Coevorden. Here, we store freight and prepare loads for the next day’s transport. This helps us shorten drive times and reach our destinations faster.
